Leonhard Grond

I am an artist, guest professor at the University of Music and Performing Arts, Vienna, affiliated member of the Centre for Sensory Studies at Concordia University, Montreal, and a Feldenkrais practitioner based in Vienna, Austria. I possess a profound curiosity about all forms of movement and learning together. I have cultivated a long-term co-creative practice with my partner Ruth Anderwald. For the last 15 years, I have been researching dizziness — an unpredictable movement that holds transformative potential in both art and life. During my research on dizziness, I discovered the Feldenkrais method and have pursued somatic learning, sensory cognition, and epistemic decompression.  I am a certified Feldenkrais Practitioner and  I am looking forward to working with you.

It’s all the time improvisation but it has a method in it. It’s playing music on certain notes, and making variations on a theme, and therefore it is a real learning. It is a lived thing.
